Two Farmington High School students were arrested last week for allegedly posting threats of gun violence on social media. The students, who are juveniles, posted they were going to 'shoot up the school' on Sept. 19, said Farmington Public Safety Deputy Director Bob Houhanisin. Farmington police searched their backpacks and, with the permission of their parents, their homes, and did not find any firearms, he said. Michigan State Police learned of the social media posts through OK2SAY, a reporting system for tipsters.
