PONTIAC, MI -- A Farmington Hills man who was 16 when he killed his mother has been sentenced to 35 to 60 years in prison. According to Fox 2 Detroit, Muhammad Altantawi was sentenced Wednesday after being convicted by a jury in March on a charge of premeditated first-degree murder.Prosecutors accused Altantawi of killing his mother, Nada Houranieh, in 2017. The woman was smothered and then pushed out of a third-story window in the family's Farmington Hills home. Altantawi was arraigned on charged in August 2017.
